Health and safety commitment excels in new heeco facility

By 10th December 2015 News No Comments

Heeco continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety after six months in its new factory.

This commitment carries across all of heeco’s services, which includes everything from design and manufacture, to commissioning and installation of electrical equipment on land and sea.

Recent improvements in health and safety parallel with the design of heeco’s facility, which it opened in July of 2015.

The new factory allows for a highly operative working environment due to the fit-for-purpose set up of the space. This ensures that each individual working on the floor is able to complete their duties in a secure space, where health and safety are built in as key components of the workspace.

The heeco facility provides consistency in operations, documentation, and customer service. Its ISO 90001 certification demonstrates heeco’s commitment to quality management practises and principles.

Health and safety procedures of high importance within heeco’s operations include the proper use of safety gear like protective eyewear, steel-toe boots and ear protection.

The company continues to secure new contracts in electrical engineering for the maritime, nuclear and offshore sectors due to its commitment to innovation and excellence.
